Why name a Textbook “my World History”? Rather than “The World History” or “A World History” or something else.  I just realized that the “my” is very appropriate when meaning “my” as in My Islamic World History. Of course, all history is relative to most public school educators today, so the “my” means what ever history you want it to be -for you. Subconsciously, the title of the textbook implies to the reader that the book is an editorial with a strong personal slant by someone. Who?  A liberal elitist. The title says it all. I like to capitalized the “My” implying that all history is God’s history of His human race.
